JOHNSON AND JEFFRIES.
FIGHT MAY NOT TAKE PLACE Received April I, 9 a.m. LONDON, March 31. "The Sportsman" mentions that there are many rumours with regard to the uncertainty of Johnson and Jeffries righting. The latter has stated positively that he will no t take the ring if he is physically unfit. Some persons, professing to be "in the know," say that Johnson will never win, however pronounced his superiority.
