CORRUPTION.
AMERICAN SENATOR BRIBED. RESIGNS HIS SEAT. Received March 30, 10.25 a.m. NEW YORK, March 30. The Senate of New York, by 40 votes to 9, found that Senator J. P. Allds had accepted a bribe of a thousand dollars to suppress certain legislation. Allds earlier in the day resigned his Senatorship. Senator Cobb has introduced a resolution demanding a formal charge against Senator Conger for bribing Allds
