ANTARCTIC EXPLORATION
. THE GERMAN EXPEDITION. Received March 30, 9 a.m. BERLIN, March 29. The object of First Lieutenant Filchner's proposed Antarctic expedition is to ascertain the mutual relations of the great land masses of the East and West Antarctic. He proposes to start twenty-five degrees r west of the meridian of Greenwich. ■
