AN UNSATISFACTORY REPLY. Mr A. W. Hogg, M.P., writing to the Secretary to the Chamber of Commerce (Mr J. C. Boddington) states that he hws had an interview with the Minister lor Justice, and brought undtr his notice the action taken by the Masterton Chamber of Commerce in reference to the new Courthouse, for which provision has been made on the Estimates. Tbe Hon the Minisrei states in reply that instructions have been given for plans to be prepared, and when these are completed 'he question of inviting tenders will be considered.
