Messrs Abraham and Willianis, Ltd.. report on their Johnsonville sale as follows extra heavy yarding of prime cattle and sheep came forward, and met a good demand at late rates. We quote:—Best billocks, £8 12s 6d to £8 15s, lighter £8 to £8 7s 6d, light £7 12s 6d to £7 15s; vealers, 21s to 30s, equal to 20s 6d per 100; prime wethers, 15a to 15a' sd, plain light, 12s lOd; prime ewes 13s 3d; medium ewes 12s to 12s 3d, plain lis to lis 3d; a heavy yarding of lambs sold readily; prime woolly, lis lOd to 12s 9d; good woolly lambs, lis 3d to lis 6d; prime shorn, 10s to 10s 3d; plain, 7s 9d to 8s to 9s 6d.
