Professor David considers the area Sir Ernest Shackleton proposes to explorejjoffers great possibilities from a geographical and general scientific aspect. Possibly another visit will be made"to the magnetic pile, information regarding which would be of much importance not only to science but to navigation. Mr Mawson would ne an ideal scientific director.
