THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The permanent picture entertainment has proved a boon to the Masterton public. When Messrs son and Payne first started enterprise here the Foresters' HaH'W'" had to be altered to make it suitablef for the class of exhibition intended, and to-day the building is so far improved that it is almost the ideal of a picture palace, and not content with the improvements made so far, the management are contemplating still further alterations and during the next week Mr John Payne wjH arrive in Masterton to decide upon final details. The new programme dynamo lately imported has proved a huge success, and has added greatly to the brilliance of the picture. Messrs Thompson and Payne deserve great credit for' the finisned manner in which they ulace their entertainment before the public, the of an irritating flicker, and the snlicflk appearance of the picture upon the Tw sheet are the ambition of everycinematographic operator, and these have been achieved at the Foresters' Hall. The programme is changed twice weekly, and the v changes are always eagerly looked forward to by the public.
