CARLTON v. CARTERTON.

The Carlton and Carterton teams resumed their cup tie match at Carterton yesterday afternoon. Heavy rain delayed the start till about halfpast three, making the pitch and outfield somewhat heavy.

Carterton, with one wicket down j for seven, resumed tht'ir first innings, the two not out men, Rev. Thompson and n! McKenzie, going to the wickets.
