PERSONAL.
The Mayor of Eketahuna (Mr E. Page) has decided to seek re-election to office.
Mr S. Inder, Postmaster, is at present away on his annual holiday, and Mr H. E. Moore is filling his position in the interval. A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Andrew's Church,Tenui yesterday. The contracting parties were Mrs J. Andrews, eldest daughter of Mrs Morrison, of Blairlogie, and Dr. Bird, of Nelson. The bride was dressed in a travelling costume, and looked nice in a sac blue coat and skirt, tailor made, the Hat to match beinfe trimned with shadow wings. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Sykes, Upper Hutt, assisted by the Rev. J. F. Phillips, of Tinui. The Church was beauti fully decorated by settlers, all unknown to the bride's family. The couple left by motor'car on their honeymoon tour.
