PURCHASED BY MESSRS J. McQUEhJN AND SONS. The auctioneering, insurance and treneral commission business of the Mdsterton Auction Mart, that has been conducted for the past five years by Mr J. R. Nicol, has been ' purchased by Messrs J. McQueen and Sons, late of Dunedin, in which town they were in business for a number of yQars. The new proprie- > tors intend to conduct the business on i up-to-date lines, and in addition to ' I holding auction sales at the Mart and outside in town and country, have : secured a number of leading agencies. The Mart wi'l be kept replete with a full stock of furniture and general . merchandise, and goods sent in by i clients will receive their best atten- . tion. The firm will also give their 5 attention to the sale of properties, .a ■ special r3presentati ve taking charge 5 of this department. { The various sales that have been - arranged with Mr Nicol will be coi,i ducted by him.
