HOCKEY.
EXCELSIOR CLUB. At a meeting of the W.F.C.A. Club, held last evening, it was decided to disband, and at a subsequent meeting of players it was decided to form a new club to be called the "Excelsior Hcckey Club." The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr F. W. Fowler; President, Mr J. P. Rankin; Vice-Presidents, Messrs E. Richards, J. Pryor, W. Pragnell, Ramgi Kerehoma and A. W. i Cave; Secretary, Mr Geo. Scrim- ; geour; Management Committee, Messrs Minett, Hall, Williams, Ball and Secretary ex officio; Teams committee, Messrs Pragnell, Williams, Scrimgeour, R. Dickson and Hall; Delegates, Messrs Daniel, Minett, Dickson and Hornblow; Guarantee Fund Committee, Messrs Parker* Hornblow and Scrimgeour. It was decided that the Captains and ViceCaptains should be elected by the I various teams, and that the Selection Committee consist of the Captains and Vice-Captains and one other player from each team. It was decided to enter one senior and two junior teams. The colours agreed upon were red and white, and the subscription was fixed at 5s and 3s 6d. Thirty-eight players were elected members of the Club.
