£iy Telegraph —Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 9. The Rev. D, C, Bates' summary and forecast is as< follows: —Warm and hazy weather has prevailed, with rain, in some localities. Moderate to strong northerly winds are reported northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and north-westerly strong to gale elsewhere. The barometer has been unsteady, hut high, in tne North, and fallen in the South. Present indications are for a further fall in the barometer, with strong westerly winds, but a rise may be expected to morrow, in the South, with southerly winds strong to gate. Coder weather and rain, probably heavy, lon the West Coast southwards of Kawhia. The change w'll probably extend further northwards by tomorrow night.
