TO-DAY'S STOCK SALE
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., make further large additions to their Masterton sale list for to-day. Ihe entries to date total close on 14,000 sheep, and among the entries some first class lines of wethers, ewes and lambs will come under the hammer.
UPPER OPAKI SALE,
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on the above sale, which was held yesterday as follows:—We offered a catalogue of upwards of two thousand sheep, besides rams, cattle and harness. There was spirited competition for all good classes of sheep, 'but for all aged sorts vendors had to be content with lower figures ; With the exception of two pen« we made a total clearance. Prices:—Best heavy weth ers made 14s; good store wethers, lis; small, 10s; best ewes, 10s 6d tolls8d; others, 8s to 9s and 10s; medium, 7s to 7s 6d; culls, 2s 6d to ss; best woolly lambs, bs 9d; shorn, 5s to 7s; culls, 3s to 3s 9d; rams, half to one guinea; aged rams, finding down prices; weaners, 20s; cows and calves, 70s.
