Mr Weber, a popular satirist, was married in London recently to the widow of the late Major Von Schoenbeck, who was shot by Captain Von Goeben, in the Military Barracks at Allenstern, Prussia, in 1908. Goeben confessed that he committed the crime in a frenzy of love for Madame Schoer.beck, and then committed suicide. Madame Schoenbeck was arrested as an accomplice,but the trial was not proceeded with owing to differences of opinion among medical experts as to her mental condition. She has now been arrested at Berlin for inciting and participating in the murder. The trial is arousing profound interest in Germany.
