CONFESSIONS OP A COUNTESS. United Press Association—Hy Electric Telegrap Lopyright. Received March 4, 9.55 p.m { KOME, March 4. The sensational trial of Naumoff, a Russian, Prelukoff, a lawyer, and the Countess Tarnaowska, a Russian divorcee, for the murder of Count Kamarowski at Venice, in September, 1907, will commence at Venice, to-day. The Countess' maid, named Ferrier, was also arraigned at the time of the crime. The Countess has confessed complicity, alleging that Naumoff fell desperately in love with her. She was betrothed at the time to Kamarowski. Naumoff determined to get rid of the latter, whose life was insured fur £20,000 in favour of Tarnaowski. Prelukoff has confessed that the Countess planned the murder to get the insurance money.
