AMUSEMENTS.

THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. The new programme at the Foresters' Hall is of an exceptionally high standard. "A Fisherman's Hate" is a first-class drama. "Bad Coin" is a very amusing picture, showing the adventures of a man attempting to get rid of a bad coin. "The Death of a Duke" is a historical drama in the time of Napoleon Bonaparte. "The Silk Worm Industry" is very interesting. "A Dream of Wealth" har, unfortunately, been too often heard of in fact, and the full sympathy of the large audience was with the poor goldseeker and his family. "Hypnotic Suggestion" is a most humourous picture. The whole programme is well worth a visit.

THE MUSICAL ALL-BLACKS,

All lovers of music, vocal and instrumental, can look forward with pleasure to the concert which is to be given by the above well-known and clever company of musicians in the Town Hall on Sunday night, February 6th. The programme will consist of orchestral and vocal items, etc., selected from a repertoire which exc:eds 1,000 distinct numbers, and as this is positively the last appearance of the lady members of the company in Masterton (pricr to their retiring into private life in Sydney) it behoves those that are desirous of hearing them not missing this final opportunity.
