RIFLE SHOOTING.
WAiRARAPA CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. (Special Reporter). The Wairarapa Rifle Association's Championship Meeting was concluded to-day, at the Papawai Range. The morning was overcast, but very sultry, and later the sun shone out brightly, making the day very hot. A steady wind was blowing from the East, but the shooting conditions were good. Riflemean W. N. Kummer (Te Wharau) won the grand aggregate, securing the "Bidwill" Challenge Shield for one year, and also Mr Bulwill's gold medal.
