MASTERTON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
*. ANNUAL AUTUMN SHOW. * I The annual Autumn Show of the j Masterton Horticultural and Industrial Society will be held in the Town and Drill Halls to-day. Last evening the committee were very busy preparing the tables and stands for the large number of exhibits, that have j been entered. All the pot plants were j staged and quite a number of vege- j table and fancy work exhibits were also placed in their respective places. This should greatly facilitate the work this morning, and the judging of exhibits will commence at 11 o'clock To insure the visitors, viewing the exhibits in everynook and enrjner, the committee have arranged Vf«4 extra lighting. The result of the cottage garden competition will be I announced at 9 o'clock, and an efficij ent string band of fourteen musicians will play choice selection-*) at intervals The Show will open at 2.30 o'clock this afternoon.
