John Mintern Paull. the young man charged with the attempted murder of a bank clerk at Mystery Creek—in which case accused formerly stated that he had acted under threats by Maoris—pleaded guilty in the Supreme Court, this morning. He was sentenced by Mr Justice Edwards to seven years' hard* labour.
