The New Zealand Farmers' Cooperative Distributing Co., Ltd., report:—There are indications that poultry keepers may look for cheaper wheat this season, on account of large supplies of discoloured grain now harvested. Cocksfoot is offering in large quantities, and sellers are anxious to quit at present much reduced rates. Chaff is easier, and is now offering at £3 (country stations). Fotatoes, best Hutt £B, medium, £4 10s to £5. others £3 per ton; butter, best separator, printed wrappers 9d, separator bulk B£d, dairy pats 8d to S£d; cheese, best factory mediums old 6d, new s£d to s£d per lb; loaf, 6Jd per lb; dressed pork, 70's to 90's 3Jd, 90's to 100's 3d, baconers 3d, choppers, heavy 2d; our weekly porksalas held each Friday during summer; eggs, Is 6d to Is 7d per dozen, good demand; bacon, factory sides G£d, rolls 7£d, hams 7d per lb; tallow, tins 22s cwt. Poultry.—Cockerels, 5s 6d for good birds; small, 3s 6d; table roosters, 4s; table hens, 3s 6d to 4s; small, 2s 6d to 3s; ducks, large 6s, small 3s 6d to 4s per pair; turkey gobblers, 9d per lb; hens, 8d per lb live weight.
