A PITIABLE DEFEAT
Received February 23, 8.35 p.m. SAN FRANCISCO, February 23. In the light-weight boxing match far the Championship of the World, held at San Francisco, Wolgast defeated Battling Nelson, who was so pitiably defeated that the referee stopped the fight at the fortieth round.
