TEA-TABLE TALK AT THE Y.M.C.A.
An excellent tea prepared for the Y.M.C.A. young men by the ladies of Knox Church was made more enjoyable by an inspiring address yesterday evening by Mr J. D. Smith, of Eketahuna. Mr J. Bunter was the chairman, and the topic "The Mystery of Keligion," was handled briefly and interestingly by the speaker. After taa the conversation turned to things "Y.M.C.A.," the prevalent topic being the swimming carnival. Sseveral members came to the meeting to do honour to a fellow swimmer, the speaker for the day. Given fine weather Thursday's carnival will be a pronounced success.
