J STOCK MARKET. Messrs Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., report:—We held 'our weekly stock sale in our Mangahaa Road yards yesterday. We had a good yarding of sheep, and report a total clearance, excepting one line of Lincoln rams. Rape lambs sold well at advanced rates. We quoteßape lambs 7s to 7s~ld, small mixed lambs 4s 3d, 4s 7d to 5s 3d, cull lambs 3s 7d to 4s 2 tooth to f.f.m. ewes 8s lOd to 8s lid, poorer sorts to 9a. We only submitted a small yarding of cattle, and report a clearance at the following prices. Weaner steers 27s to 30s, weaner heifer to 235, 2yr heifers £2 12s to £3 ss. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on their weekly stock sale held in the Fahiatua yards on Tuesday as follows: —We submitted a fair yarding of sheep and cattle to a good attendance of buyers and farmers. There was a good demand for all classes of stock offered, and we have to report a total clearance under the hammer. We quote:—S.m. ewes 6s 2d to 8s 6d, lambs 5s 4d to 5s lid. cull lambs 3s to 3s Id, bullocks £4 19s, steers £3 15s to £4 Bs, 2-year steers £2 18s, empty heifers £3, heifers in calf £3 Is, fat cows £'d 19s to £4 3s, weaners to 265.
