THE WARATAH.
THE WAKEFIELD'S SEARCH
INDIGNATION AT THE DELAYED DEPARTURE.
INSURANCE COMPANIES' VIEWS.
Received February 17, 12.25 a.m. MELBOURNE, February 16.
At a meeting of the Waratah it was decided that the Search Committee should cable to the Premier of Natal expressing indignation at the delay in connection with the Wakefield's departure, and urging him to expedite it in every possible manner. Life insurance companies do not intend to pay claims on the lives of the Waratah passengers until the Court grants probate. Even then they will require an indemnity, and do not regard the fact of the English Court granting probate ot Captain Allbery's will as binding on them.
