CARTERTON NEWS.

(Own Correspondent.) Monday. Mr G. Armstrong, late of Opunake, is spending a few weeks holiday with hits people here, after which he leaves for Australia, and then for England. The Borough Council staff is at present repairing High street where needed. Mr C. J. Jury has donated two handsome gold medals to the Ahiaruhe Sports Club for their forthcoming meeting, and they have been allotted to the Hunters' Competition and the Ahiaruhe Handicap.
