BOXING.
The Executive of the Masterton Club of the Wairarapa Boxing Association propose making an early start giving our local men the opportunity of indulging in one of the most invigorating and useful of sports, under conditions which must be admittd, as being perfect in every way. A commodious and well-ap-pointed hall in Dixon street, specially fitted for the purpose, has been kindly lent by Mr A. P. Whatman, and here members will find everything to hand from a skipping rope to a shower bath. The pentlemen comprising the local Committee are a sufficient guarantee that tne concern will be run on the most desirable lines, and it is to be sincerely hoped that their efforts in offering to our young men a manly and healthy exercise, will .be well supported by all local enthusiasts." _!__
