LANSDOWNE SCHOOL PICNIC.
The first picnic in connection with Lansdowne School was held yesterday, and proved a most enjoyable function. The children, accompanied by many of the parents, were driven out to Mrs Welch's farm Willowbank, and tLere spent a very pleasant day. Racing, games, swimming, etc., made the time pass all too quickly, and a tired' but happy band returned unwillingly to their homes.
