MASTERTON v. EKETAHUNA. The Masterton and Eketahuna Tennis Clubs met at Eketahuna yesterday, and a very enjoyable day's outing ended in favour of Master - ton by 113 points to 85. The detailed scores are as follow, Eketahuna players being mentioned first in each case: — Singles-F. Fysh lost to N. H. James, 8-11; W. Toohill baat D. Caselberg. 11—10; J. Bright beat J. V. Gordon, 11—8;' T. M Page beat H. M. Boddington, 11—4; L. F.- Wright lost to H. H. Donald, 7—ll; S. Davie lost to G. W. Sellar, 7—11; P. Tumor beat E. R. Wilson, 11—10; H. Greathead lost to J. Caselberg, 2—ll. Doubles.—Toohill and Fish beat D. Caselberg and Boddington, 11—8; | Bright and Page beat James and Gordon, 9—B: Wright and Davie lost *o Donald and Sellar, 9—4; Turnor and Bray lost to Wilson and J. Caselberg, 11—4. The Masterton Club » ill send a team to Pahiatua on Saturday, by the 11.43 a.m. train, to play the second round of the Country Cup competition, also the annual match against the Pahiatua Club.
