AUSTRALIA'S DESTROYERS.
FIRST VESSEL SAFELY ' LAUNCHED. Keceived February 10, 8.45 a.m. LONDON, February 9. The Parramatta, the first of the Australian destroyers, has been safely launched on the Clyde. Mrs Asquith, wife of the Prime Minister, performed the christening ceremony. The two other destroyers now in course of construction for the Commonwealth Government will be named the Yarra ami the Warrego, after rivers in Victoria and Queensland.
