THE GRAND CENTRAL HOTEL.

A MODERN ESTABLISHMENT. Situated in the heart of Cuba street, Wellington, and in line with the most important business establishments in that locality is the Grand Central Hotel. It is an imposing building, containing a large number of spacious, well-ventilated and splendidly furnished bedrooms, together with private sitting rooms, commercial rooms, and all the other conveniences usually associated with an up to-date private hotel. Each bedroom is directly connected with a tire escape. Every week scores of Wairarapa residents visit the Empire city, many of whom are perplexed as to a suitable place at which to stay. Under the capable management of Mr an O'Connor, the former of whom has had fourteen years' experience as chief steward in the Union Company, the urand Central has gained the reputation of being one of the beat private hotels in Wellington, and it is a house that can be recommended to Wairarapa residents visiting there. The very best meals are supplied, the charges are decidedly reasonable for the excellent service, and trams for all parts of the citv and the various pleasure resorts pass the door every few min • utes.
