Handicap Maiden Hurdles, about mile—Prophet 9.0, Julian, 1; Explosive 9.2, 2; Hoanga 9.8, 3. All started. Won by a length and a-half. Time, 3min lsec. Suburban Handicap, sjfc furlongs— Devonport 8.9, T. Brady, 1; Hyperion 7.5, 2; Tarina 8.2, 3. Also started—Jena 7.10, Amwell 7.9, and Lady Frances 7.3. A great race Won by a neck. Time, lmin 12sec. Takapuna Jockey Club Handicap, 11 mile—Azoff 6.11, 1: Uranium 9.0, 2; Rimlock 7.3, 3. Also started —Wauchope 9.0, and Lochbuie 8.0. Won by three lentha. Time, 2min lSsec.
