ANTARCTIC EXPLORATION
CAPTAIN SCOTT'S ARKANGEMENTS. Received February 3, 12.10 a.m. LONDON, February 2. Captain Scott, in connection with his Antarctic exDedition, lands' 22 men at McMurdo Sound, he then leaves six at King Edward's Land for meteorological observations. The expedition leaves N«w Zealand in November, and spends January in erecting huts, and February and March in making the . provision depots. Captain Scott expects to cover 200 miles before settling down for the winter.
