Received February 2, 8.40 a.m. LONDON, February 1. "The Times," in announcing the honour conferred upon Sir Robert Kyffin Thomas, proprietor ot the "Adelaide Register," refers to his services as president of the Geographical Society of South Australia and of the Adelaide Chamber nf Commerce, and as member of t'te committee for raising troops for tiie South African War. The "Standard" notes the compliment paid to the press. The "Daily Mail" pays a tribute to Sir Robert's efforts to streng then Imperial relations, and adds that his success as an organiser was shown at the Press Conference. The "Daily Telegraph" makes similar references.
