THE CALCUTTA MURDER.
SENTENCE OF DEATH PASSED. Received February 2, 9.10 a.m. CALCUTTA, February 1. Briendra Gupta, the Bengal youth, who murdered Sham ul Alam, a police inspector, in the High Court at Calcutta, has been „found guilty and sentenced to death. He refused legal assistance.
