PETROLEUM PROSPECTS.
SATISFACTORY REPORTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, January 31. Between 6 p.m. on Thursday and*6 a.m. to-day 120 barrels of petroleum bad been obtained from No. 2 well, which still produces at. about the same rate—over 30 barrels perday without pumping, a highly payable yield. Number 3 well is also improving and giving a good yield.
