Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their P.F.A. sale of yesterday as followsWe submitted ?a very heavy yarding of sheep and a moderate entry of cattle to a good attendance. - The attendance, however, at the commencement of the sale, owing no .doubt to the altered time of starting, viz., 11.30 a.m., was not too good. The •bulk of the sheep yarded comprised aged ewes and fair lambs, which did not meet much enquiry, but good stuff sold well at late rates, as also did all classes of cattle. We quote: —Two-tooth wethers, 10s 6d; -small wethers. 9s 3d; fat and forward ewes, 8s 6d; aged ewes, 3s lOd to 4s 2d; cu'l ewes, 2s to 2s 7d; wether lambs. 6s Id to 6s 3d; mixed lambs, small, 5s Id; forward bullocks, £5 7s 6d: yearling steers, <£2 9s; weaner steers, 325; mixed weaners,[small, 17s; cows and calves. £3 2s 6d; empty cows, £2 16s; 18smonth heifers in calf, £2 10s to £2 14s 6d; bulls, £2 17s 6d to £4 2s •6d.
