CARTERTON NEWS.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Friday. Mr W. C. Buchanan, M.P., has donated a guinea to the funds of the South Wairarapa Poultry Association. It is stated that a telephone bureau is to be established at Belvedere. Mr Stout, the newly appointed headmaster of the Belvedere school, has arrived in the district. Mr and Mrs J. H. Wakelin left this morning on a weeks holiday visit to Paln.erston North. Bro. T. Sparks, senr., having resigned the position of lecture master of Loyal Heart of Oak Lodge of Oddfellows. Bro, R. Butler has been elected to fill the vacancy. S. Mary's Sunday School will hold their annual picnic at Grays Bush tomorrow. The local Oddfellow's Lodge will be represented by Bro. G. Bowles at the district meeting in Petone next month.
