ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE.
A general meeting of thecCommit'-: tee of the St. John Ambulance Brigade was held in the Dominion last night, Mr A. Donald (Superintendent) being in the chair. A letter was received fro v. the Hon. the Alii - ister of Internal Affairs granting permission to hold an art u»>im >i<jd raffles in connection with the baza.ir. Mr Gerald C. Branson wrote submitting suggestions re programme, consisting of elocutionary conttstp, recitations, ccmeiy i sketches, club swinging, etc. It was decided that the programme be ltft in the han.ls of Mr G. Branson to get competitors, tne committee to advertise same. It was decided that the committee be empowered to spend £lO in art union prizes. It was decided that the Vice-Presidents, Messrs John Hunter, Alex. Donald. M. C. O'Connell and the Rev., A. T. Thompson, 1 be an executive committee to deal, with all matters in connection with the bazaar with full power to act. It was decided to open the bazaar on Friday and Saturday afternoons as well as every evening during Show Week. The ladies in charge of the nine stalls reported satisfactory pro gress, and it was decided that tie ladies' executive consißt of the superintendent of each stall
