EXTENSIONS IN PROGRESS.

Received January 21, 8.25 a.m. LONDON, January 20. The Essen correspondent of the "Daily Mail" states that, with the view of meeting pieantiful orders, a considerable extension of Krupp's ordinance works is in progress, and will be .-ompleted during the current year. When completed a housand new men will be employed, The Chinese Commissioners now visiting Europe hava given a provisional order for £IOO,OOO worth of heavy guns.
