SUFFRAGETTE AWARDED DAMAGES.
Received January 21, 8.25 a.m." LONDON, January 20. The Manchester County Court has awarded Mrs Davison, the suffragist, 40s damages [against the visiting justices of Strangeways Gaol, Lancashire, who ordered a hose to play upon her while she was undergoing detention in a ce-l.
