GREYTOWN NEWS.
From Our Own Correpsondent. January 20, The weather during the last few days has been very threatening, but very little rain has fallen. The farmers are very anxious tn see a heavy downpour. The Town Hall is having a better r n this month. The Scarlet Troubadours are booked for the 24th, Boutell's Pictures on the 27th, and the Pollards have pencilled the 3rd and 4th of February, and the Besses o' the Barn Band will visit here early in March. There will also be numerous local concerts and bazaars during the next month. A large number of natives were at attending the tangi and funeral of a native named Luke Kingi. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon.
