SOLWAY STOCK FAIR.
CANVASSING COMMITTEE APPOINTED. A GENEROUS DONATION. A meeting of the Committee appointed by the Masterton A. and P Association to organise the Solway Stock Fair scheme, whirl, is to be held shortly after thu Masterton Show, was held yesterday afternoon, in the A. and P. offices. There were present Messrs G. C. Summerell (chairman), W. Perry, D. McGregor junr., and H. Morrison. The details of the Fair weze discussed at length, and the following were appointed a canvassing committee:—Messrs A. D. McMaster Kahautara; J. G. Elliott, Martinborough ; Q. Donald, Featherston; H. McPhee, Carterton; W. B. Alkn, Taratafti; J. Strang, Gladstone; J. McKenzie, Te Whiti and Homebush;

Perry announced at the | meeting that he would donate twenty stud Lincoln rams valued at live guineas each towards the Stock Fair.
