CONFERENCE OF HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS. PUBLIC DISSATISFACTION. MELBOURNE, January 17. Owing to the growing public dissatisfaction of the continual dislocations of the telegraph service throughout the Commonwealth, the Postmaster-General called a conference of telegraphic departments to devise means of overcoming the difficulties. He declares his determinatii n to put the service in a proper order whatever the cost.
