THAT PROSPECTING PROPOSITION.

The proposal to raise funds in order that an exhaustive prospect of the Waingawa Valley may be made still, continues to attract attention. On a recent occasion we referred to the question, and urged that a prospect on the lines suggested should be made. There is resaon to suppose that there would be really no difficulty in raising a few hundred pounds, all that is necessary to settle, practically, whether there would be any justification for further expenditure. We understand that the Masterton Chamber of Commerce will discuss the matter at its next meeting, and we hope that some suggestions of a valuable character will be forthcoming from that body.
