THE AUSTRAL UNISCOPE COMPANY.
Another large audience greeted the above Company, at the Showgrounds, last evening. The weather conditions were threatening, but fortunately the elements held off, and did not in any way interfere with the programme. As on the previous evening the pictures were a remarkably well selected lot, and those who were present thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the entertainment. The variety of the pictures was a special feature and the public showed its appreciation by frequent applause. Of a first-class lot of films the humourous studies were perhaps the most popular, including "India Rubber Shoes," "Bob the Scullion," and "The Two Pig Tails." Other pictures worthy of special mention were "The Little Dog Clipper,' "A Japanese Love Story," "Motor Trials," "Tiger Hunt in Africa,' "Pastimes in the Fir Province.*' To-morrow | evening! and during the rest of the week the Company will showan entirely new series of films i of the very latest studies.
