LANGDALE SPORTS.
The annual sports meeting of the Langdale Athletic Club will be held ' on the Langdale Domain on Thursday next. The committee, with their usual liberality, has arranged a programme of 28 events, nnd £7O will be given in cash prizes in addition to medals and trophies. The programme includes foot and horse events, and several of the latter will be competed for by ladies, and numerous events are set down for children. The committee has arranged for lunch and afternoon tea at reasonable prices, the function concluding with a dance in the Langdale Hall. Programmes and particulars will be supplied by Ah e secretary, Mr Duncan Munro.
