UNCLE TOM'S CABIN

Very tew modern dramatic productions contain so much patho*. genuine emotion and realistic sensation to the square inch as does the old but evergreen play, "Uncle Tom's Cabin." The pathetic deaths of Little Eva and Uncle Tom, the cruelties practised by that arch fiend, Legree, and the bold fight for freedom put up by the quadroon, George Harris, and his brave wife Eliza, never fail to excite the sympathy of the audience. This play is to be produced at the Town Hall to-monow night, by the wellknown Taylor-Carrington Company. Plantation melodies, choruses and coon songs are introduced, ard the scenic effects include the famous "Frozen River Scene," and an illuminated apotheoaiß showing Little Eva and Uncle Tom among the angels.
