Carlton. 24, Patrick 19, Crawshaw 10, and Watson 10 not out. Krice captured 5 wickets for 37, Hickey 4 for 50. Wellington lost 6 wickets for 88 runs, Midlane 31, Hawthorne 18, Hickson 13.

The following will represent the Wairarapa Age team in a match against the " Wairarapa Daily Times" team on the Park Oval on Saturday next:—N. Madsen, F. Madsen, B. Iveson, S. Cresswell, W. Hounslow, A. E. Green, J. King, D. Nicholson, R. Scrivener, L. A. Harris, P. Bennett. The match will commence at 3 o'clock sharp. '

In view of the represenative match, Wairarapa v. Hawke's Bay, which takes place at Napier on 22nd and 4tn, January, the following players are requested to go into practice:—Smart, Maunsell. F.
