BEET-GROWING.
SUFFOLK FARMERS ACCEPT A CONTINENTAL OFFER. Received December 29, 9 am. LONDON, December 28. Owing to the soil in Suffolk being better than that in Germany, a Continental 'firm made an offer to several Suffolk farmers to grow beet. The foreign factory will pay 17s ton, and supply seed gratis. It will also pay freight. The offer hag been accepted.
