Prominent amongst the many excellent grocery establishments in Mastertori is that of Mr J. Whittaker, whose large and elegantly equipped store is located conveniently for shoppers in Queen Street. The store has a reputation for first-class goods, and buyers find there at all times the choicest and best selected lines of groceries and provisions, teas, coffee extracts, spices, fruits, factory butter, confectionery, crockery, cutlery, and all the other lines usually found in a leading grocery establishment. The excellent merchandise, comHned with an upright disposition and absolutely reliable and trustworthy business methods, have won for Mr Whittaker the success his efforts so richly merited- His clients can be reckoned by the hundreds, and the list is ever increasing. For the Christmas season a varied stock of articles suitable for presents, such as are associated with a grocery establishment has been secured. In the selection of a present it is a good idea to make it acceptable from a point of utility. In this store there are scores of useful household goods, which would make splendid presents and which are, nevertheless, inexpensive. Residents are invited to inspect the Christmas stock.
